Details
Rules: 1. The JAM master is GOD. No questions or arguments once the final decision has been made. 2. To object, slam the table and say “JAM.” The JAM master decides when you are allowed to put forth your objection. 3. You get a penalty if the competition objects on any of the following counts: - You object out of turn. - You stutter, stammer, or use time-wasting tactics (e.g., “uhh,” “aah...”). - Early start or late start. - Speaking too fast or too slow. - Grammatical errors.- Undue stress on words or incorrect emphasis in sentences. - Repetition of a previously used idea. - Not following the “random rules” set by the JAM master. 4. A contestant can object to the speaker with JAM if they are: a. Being repetitive. 5. The topic will be given on the spot with no preparation time. 6. Each round shall last for 1 minute. 7. The contestants will be divided into smaller groups based on the number of participants. 8. Language: English.
b. Making grammatical errors.
c. Deviating from the topic.
d. Hesitating to speak.
