1 . Rules of the All-India Chess Federation a n d FIDE shall apply

unless any of the changes are beforehand mentioned b y the

organising committee t o all.

2 . Every college that wishes t o participate is entitled t o provide

a t m a x t w o t e a m s .

3 . E a c h team should h a v e four members a t - l e a s t a n d five players

at max (one player will b e the reserve player).

4 . Each college shall clearly state the names of its team members

before t h e start o f the tournament. Captain/Manager shall submit

t h e original ranking order t o the Chief Arbiter before the start of

the tournament with t h e official elo ratings o f the players (if any).

5 . T h e time format o f t h e tournament will b e 1 5 + 1 0 (subject to

change later depending upon the circumstances, and will b e

informed w e l l b e f o r e t h e s t a r t o f t h e t o u r n a m e n t )

6 . Each team must play through the entire tournament.

7 . For breaking the tie for Board Prizes; the higher placed team

member will b e c o n s i d e r e d for Board Prize.

8 . What-so-ever t h e circumstance is, request pertaining t o

postponement of first round will not b e entertained.

9 . The clock will b e started after 5 minutes a n d walk-over time

shall b e 10 minutes.

10. The tournament format will b e conveyed after the completion of

registration process.
